Big city. Lived there my whole life. Never been to the one in Ohio. I think we're named after Ravenna, OH. 3 hours isn't bad, I can hardly get into Ohio in 3 hours. Just looked it up...we drive through Toledo regularly to get to Cleveland suburbs to see family. Not too far, never been to Delta though.

You would have loved it.... "When I put anything in a box with a mans name on it... It is because I have given him my word that the thing in the box is his! Do you want a husband whose word isn't worth anything? If my promises are no good to him why should they have value to you? If you will not support my integrity why should I consider it something you value? Why do you deserve it when others don't? Yeah, it went like that.

Not too bad. In alot of ways I'm glad my wife doesn't like beer.

So I was getting a growler of MagoTago for this trade (not HBT trade tho, don't get your hopes up) and the keg kicks after the growler is about 95% filled. So the bartender gives it to me gratis (including the growler itself). Free Tired Hands beer? Win! Finish the anniversary batch of MagoTago to boot? Win-Win! :mug:

Honestly you would have no reason to be in Delta unless you are a seasonal migrant farm worker or live here. lol. I moved here from Toledo so I could raise my children in a better environment than I was raised in. My children never heard a shot fired in anger, were never bullied or pressured in to joining a gang. Mission accomplished. I have a room and a half in the basement and a significant amount of space in the garage dedicated to brewing next time you are heading to Cleveland just have the wife drop you off we'll brew and drink. If your family is anything like mine visiting with them is highly over-rated.

Good work.

Yeah, but I enjoy the hell out of drinking beer with my wife. I am pretty sure I have tasted half or less of the beer some have sent me... Fine with it... If she didn't enjoy the hobby she might ask what it cost! That would be a worse conversation than the one about touching trade beer.

Still on cow, want a stout.

my wife whom I met in the Army is in the living room trying to teach my daughter who just joined the Ohio Air National Guard how to march, salute and do a proper push up. OMG I wish I could get a video it's hilarious.

I consider you a full on tease for mentioning it without a video.

for a minute she was calling out a cadence. nothing worse than women marching to cadence if you ask me. No offense Hello it just sounds better when Men march.

I love that you apologize to only one woman for your sexist (yet pretty much on point) generalization.... Really, not at all worried about how fins feels?

Is he transitioning? That explains why he (she?) can't drink right now. I'm not one to judge I say do what makes you happy.

Splurged and bought a couple of bottles of Duchesse last night. They only made it one night in the fridge before I drank them tonight.

Anybody belong to a homebrew club? I'm thinking about joining one but not exactly sure what you do at meetings. I heard everybody brews the same beer and then comparisons are made? If it's just sitting around drinking talking about beer I'm in.

I do, and it's pretty fun. We have gatherings every month. Everyone who comes brings their own HB to share for tasters, and everyone who tastes gives feedback on tasting sheets or just vocal reviews after the brew has been divvied out through the room. Sometimes we do brew sessions, folks bring hop rhizomes to share, other beer-fanalia is shared, etc. we also have a Facebook page where people post pics of their brews, ask for last minute brew day supplies, trade, and sell equipment.

All in all, I'd recommend joining just to see what they have to offer.

had a Nuclear Winter, and now my Robust Porter from the keg. about to go to bed. 2:30 comes too early.

At this point you should just forget about being hungover at work.... Be drunk at work. I need you to get fired cause my company needs a welder that isn't a d bag.

Haha thanks. I may take you up on it. I do like these ones though.
