Do it or go get a bottle of scotch and have a business meeting in an empty conference room.

I wish my boss was cool like that.

My boss's favorite joke is to offer to grab you a beer at a company funuction and come back woth a glass of water, or an O'Doul's. It's a riot, choking down a NA before excusing yourself to get a real beer.

My boss considers himself a beer connoisseur because he drinks IPA's. I just let it slide when he's buying. Its worth it just to get out of the office.

I'm just trying to avoid them for a while due to my overuse of them, they've been the star in my last 3 brews.

Really excited for this current one.

OG: 1.055
50ish IBU
Columbus FWH
Columbus/Galaxy/Spruce tips @ 15
Simcoe/Cascade/Galaxy @ F/O Hopstand

Haven't decided on the dry hop yet... thinking Columbus or Simcoe or both.

O. I thought that was implied on most of their interactions?

Drinking kombucha. Just pitched some CY17 wine yeast in the jackfruit cider. I had a half packet from a previous project in the fridge, it sounded appropriate, and it saved me a trip.

Hopefully it works out if you like the new management!

Drinking coffee while yet more rain is coming through the area. Hopefully the golf tournament I'm in this weekend doesnt get rained out....

I didn't know you were on the LPGA tour. Congrats!

You are all too kind. Thank you.

Just saved my friend from dumping a potentially fine beer. Was about to pour it out because the airlock didn't bubble. Blew his mind when I showed him how to read a hydrometer and what the reading meant.

That hydrometer is probably the third most important thing being cleaning agents and a thermometer.

Yeah I know. He lost the one we originally bought when I started brewing with him. Finally talked him into buying a new one. I told him bubbles didn't mean anything and he LOLd at me. Mind blown when explained what I learned here. Whether or not he made a good beer, is a different story.

At the very least there is probably alcohol in it...

Much like the first beer I brewed. It was not very good.

I wasn't a huge fan. The malt sweetness is a bit much for me. The IPA wasn't bad. Did not like Cardinal. The price of it here doesn't help. Little expensive. They have killer artwork though.

Agreed about Cardinal.

Son and I we're visiting Grandma in Lincoln, RIP, and after a golf round driving back into town a brew pub caught my attention. The beer was horrible. Taste like my first go around with homebrew...and there was a reason I stopped.

So anyway, glad someone there makes a drinkable beer.
