They are certainly harder than most. I take the label off and soak them in oxi-clean for a week or so and the residue comes right off. I have a 5 gallon bucket that I can normally keep full from hard to get off labels on 750s and those.

I've cleaned 7 of them now it took me a couple minutes a bottle with a soak in hot water and oxy-clean free and these scrubbers.

Nice, I need to get some of those.

So easy... I can't believe people actually struggle to get labels off. They'll spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on equipment, won't buy a 2 dollar scrubby.

I didnt even know those existed. Never had to purchase them or have a need for them before. Now I do!

House met appraisal, now all that is left is closing and giving them all my money.

Would be a good night to celebrate... by finishing the keg, because I'm not buying ****.

Congrats man! :rockin:

I get most of mine squeaky clean with a bar mop, and the rest with a green Scotch Brite pad. If neither of those work, the the glue just stays, and those just don't leave the house. I only have about 300 bottles to choose from anyway.

Wife just texted me a pic of her drink with the caption "Held out longer than I thought I would."

We go together like peas and carrots.

I seem to remember a long soap opera about a snow blower/mover being fixed repeatedly this winter and do I really want to put up with getting one that has been sitting for the past 6 years running again? I wonder if Hazard Fraught has some for sale.

Thanks for the reminder. ;) And yes, it's still broke.

Congrats man. I remember the day we closed i got that "excited/scared" feeling. Like 98% excited, 2% scared. Or maybe it's more - It could be two - it could be 98% scared, 2% excited but that's what makes it so intense, it's so - confused. I can't really figure it out.

Water. looks like city is returning to normal

You have a point there on the CL tiller. Will see what is available. Though getting it running may be a PITA. As for the second point, there is my problem. Some 20 years ago this was good garden plot. Since then it has had cars parked on it, pavers set on top (and sunk in the ground from trailers and cars) and aside now its grass only. I just want to keep my back.

Fun stuff! Pavers, bricks, river rocks are always nice surprises when power equipment is involved. Is renting a skid steer with the tiller attachment out of the question? :D

Congrats CADJockey
IMO more scared cause it way too expensive of a mistake to fix.

Water and more water.

2% scared sounds good for buying a house. 98% scared is when you find out your significant other is pregnant the first time. ;)

Congrats @CADJockey !

I was 100% unafraid to sign for my house because I was saving $200 a month, and no more fear that my landlord would default on the loan that I and my fellow tenants were supposed to be paying for her. It had already happened to 2 properties she owned on my street. Came down to peace out and rent something that didn't fit my family, or peace out and buy somethng that did.

You are welcome. I aim to please.

No real CL deals. The best I found was 160... Hadnt been started in a year, or a $50-75 Montgomery Ward one that started 3 years ago but doesnt work now. May as well buy new.

Yeah. I tear up my lawnmower plenty as it is. How do I keep finding bricks in the yard? I swear I could build a brick shed with all the bricks I have found and stacked on the side of my house. Now wouldnt that be cool. A brick brew/tool shed. I am sure I would need a building permit for that kind of construction. And experience in bricklaying. Waitaminute. I think my momma has one of those mantis deals. I will have to see if I can borrow that.

Third pour of HB IPA in a dirty glass. Just killed a pile of weeds. Pulled vines off of three trees that can now breathe, payed off some bills, took out the trash, cleaned the grill and smoker, and now there is nothing to do (well that I am going to do) but sit around and enjoy some beers before I cook dinner.

I shall regale all of you some day with the story of the snowblower with the exploding tire and the narrow miss if the neighbor's truck... from across the street.

Wait.... I think I just did, in a very encapsulated manner.

HB WTF kolsch. Oh, and proof of a massive party on Sunday. If it takes two days to clean up, it was a good party.

Contemplating putting my house on the market. Prices are nuts around here for a usually super steady market.

Drinking a hopped up Hb Kolsch hoping the freaking rain stays away.
