How sour is that? Who brews it?
My wife would never go for the foil anyways. Whenever I hear the word for oil I think of these guys.

If you like Farmhouse/Saisons with Brett and havent tried this blend do yourselves a favor and get some it's an awesome blend.
Same here. I even spent the money blacking out a room.... If I got home before dawn I could sleep... But if I saw the sun it was a lost cause.
Dude, are you missing a dog? Irescued this one a couple of years ago:
Greatest sports movie ever.
Love the bit about the terrible masterbater... "Why, he would get deliberate penalties so he could get into the box all by himself and damned if he wouldn't...."
More water.
Drinking a bretted saison as I type, awesome!
Measured and condition grains for a saison, oversized batch so I can infect what doesn't fit in the keg. View attachment 275173
How sour is that? Who brews it?
Had a good lunchless meet-up with @Hello today to compare kegged vs. bottled versions of my Steinpilz Gose. As far as flavor, they were practically indistinguishable. The carb on the kegged beer was a tad more effervescent after the pour. Anyway, she gifted me a sixer of beer while she was here...mostly some terrific sounding HB's. She did, however, include a Victory Kirsch Gose that she was very excited for me to try. Well, it is worthy of the excitement! Beautiful color, head is just a little pink. The flavor is a great balance of everything I was hoping for...tart cherry burst. Very slightly sweet, but just enough to keep it from being bone dry. A touch of salt in the finish. A little sour bite moves back forward at the very end. Wow...solid goodness! Thanks, Hello!
Bowser has a brother! Rescued him last August. We're inseparable.
(sister)...Very sweet, but extremely energetic dog...and she likes my spent grain dog treats. Nails like a Velociraptor, though!
Finishing this awesome Victory Kirsch Gose. <---back on topic![]()
Definitely need (to quote @Remmy).
More semi-sour-ish stout.
The run will suck tomorrow.
It's Destihl. More sour than an Anderson valley bit not by much.
Isn't that two things you are looking for from up here now?
Must not be available here in Ohio I've never seen it. I need to try a Westbrook gose and that one.
View attachment 275189old time drinking. Might need to make a koozie out of foil
You don't just have a stack of koozies? Bad host.
View attachment 275196oh I have koozies, plus a few floating around in the garage, truck, and day tripper ice chest. The foil comment was made in keeping with the slap shot movie theme.
Next on my "must try" list from @Hello is her Orange Ginger IPA test batch before her infamous cluster **** at the brewery adventure. I hope that one really turns out well or you're able to do a re-brew if necessary, because this beer ROCKS!!! I'm more a pale ale person that IPA...they tend to be a bit past my personal preference for bitterness...however, I poured this beer and immediately, I love the color. Then the aroma reached right up outta that floccin' glass and grabbed me by my deviated septum and pulled me right in. I don't have a sophisticated enough palate to pick out ginger and orange and certain hops, but all this stuff is workin' together and I'm lovin' it! It's on the edge of my bitterness comfort zone, but I can handle it.I get the bitter...and maybe the ginger...up front. Maybe the orange peel in the finish? Need to send a bottle of this to Dar and let him set me straight.
I'm an idiot who doesn't watch hockey movies.
If Dar can't nail it down no body can. I can hear him now...Nostril sniff, dare I say it I'm picking up a hint of fabuloso
