Either. The krausen is the healthiest and most viable yeast. You can "wash" the yeast after. There are multiple videos on youtube to show. I need to wash some brett and reuse

I need to start harvesting yeast to save. I've decided on what strain to use as my house yeast and it gets old spending 7-8 bucks a vial for every brew. I'll probably do the washing the yeast cake at bottling method.

More coffee. Playing poker tonight, so have to keep the beer to a minimum until then to avoid losing my wits.

On the plus note, I literally just found cash in about the amount of my tax liability. While moving cash around in the bank, I noticed a "points total" on a credit card I did not believe had any sort of points. Upon investigation, I had enough points to cash in and get a cash deposit of nearly the exact number showing on my tax return.

No. I wouldn't need such a thing. I do all the finances and she has no idea what is going on. I actually have decided that I have to start sitting down with her a few times a year to go over stuff, in case I croak. I made a list of accounts and passwords and stuff to stick in my safe at the beginning of the year for that purpose.

And this poker game is purely for bragging rights. Six guys playing no limit holdem with a $10 buy in. I don't think that's going to register on the financial radar.

EDIT: I will undoubtedly spend more in beer for this event than I will lose at the table.
