Interesting. I didn't know there were any non-EB companies in the area that did that kind of thing.

As of the last time I was there he had not yet moved into the new space, but it definitely looks like he needs to do so soon.

The market is far from saturated here. Any good brewer would do well if they opened a brewery here.

It's just that we're are specialized- much narrower field but greatly related to a lot of what you do.

I agree. Let me know if you're that guy- ill taste test your stuff!

Haha, I will not be that guy... at least not here. I'm planning to open a brewery after I move back to Texas when I get out of the Navy. But until then you're more than welcome to taste my brews as I already have a few of my HB recipes that I'll be bringing to the commercial brewery and I can always use more.

Jester king's not really up my alley

I don't understand. I'm not sure those words form a logical sentence. ;)
The only other brewery I've been to in Austin besides Jester King is Austin Beer Garden Brewing. I'd say they're worth checking out.

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed that beer. By description I thought it would just be weird. It's kindof great.

Even if you don't like sours JK is a pretty cool brewery to check out from a scenery standpoint also pretty good pizza place right next door to them. If not hops n grains on the east side of austin is cool. Whip N, rainy st. District, black star are all good places to check out

I'm born and raised Fort Worth texas so I love flying saucer I just haven't found a Tate for wild and sour ales that's the only reason I'm hesitant about JK but I'll look into the others only have time to go to one or two
While I'm there

Love that one so smooth

Pretty good. For the price, just the Special Reserve 90 is a great buy for an everyday drinker. I missed out on the 12. I guess I barely missed it because the tags are still on the empty shelves at most places. I hope to eventually find a bottle of 12.
