Headed out tomorrow for my last pick of season for Blueberries in my area. @ .50 cents a pound I am going to put in some serious labor hours and a serious hurting on those bushes.

I raked about 30 lbs of blueberries last week. Rakes are the way to go.

I need to re-invest in one of those. We had one laying around up in the barn but I can't find that thing for the life of me this year, and I am too cheap to plunk another 100 bucks down on another one!

also, i had this last night and was disappointed. I saw the brewing tv episode on sours and heard a lot of talk about kriek, knowing nothing else about sours since all my friends are BMC drinker, i purchased this lambic thinking it was a sour :smack::smack: it tasted like a lot of cherries (i know this is kriek now) and was just too sweat for my taste, more of a fruit juice than beer IMO

Lindemans is backsweetened. Traditional kriek isn't sweet.
