I had the pleasure of going to the Kennedy School and slamming down many beers 3 years ago. Such a sick setup!!! Another sick brewery that I've been to is Churchworks (something like that) in Pittsburgh. Nothing like eating dinner and slamming brews down sitting on a CHURCH PEW with the fermenting tanks on the ALTAR!!!

He'll yeah! The Church Brew Works is a pretty awesome place! I went there for my last birthday! Their Cherry Quadzilla was pretty awesome! Plus it's my old stompin grounds, so there's another plus!

It is indeed! I've been having a serious La Roja craving since I got it this morning. Maybe I can pick some up when I talk my wife into a trip to Lexington for my bDay. The Beer Trappe posted on FB that they got Crooked Stave, Anchorage, and Fantome Sour Black in today. Sounds totally worth a 4 hr drive each way and a hotel for the night.

Test bottle of my IIPA that's 11.25% and 120ibu after being in the bottle 2 weeks. It's only about half carbed and it's been carbing at 80f so I think the yeast may not power through, but it is incredible as is. Thought about gently emptying the bottles into a keg and drinking quickly but I see that causing trouble.

Well, despite a whiny family, I did get to sample a Cowbell Stout (awesome!), a Lychee Pale Ale (better than I expected), and a taster of the Oak aged Brett Gran Met (giggity!!). Plus a growler fill of their new single hop series with mosaic! Plus some other goodies for some of you other munkeys. So it wasn't a terrible night!
