Thanks ya'll. It was a good one. On a RIS and a smaller beer (which won't be good) and drunk some good beer and some soy sauce aka Sam Adams triple bock haha

Happy birthday!

Once this piece of Nicorette finishes its job (been more than a week since I quit, woohoo!), gonna pour a bomber of my APA as a nightcap.

Yup

Good luck quitting. It's not easy (dont smoke just occasional cigar but I heard and understand its not easy) but you can do it. It's for the best for your health and bank account for more beer lol.

Major motivator for me. Figure +/- $5 per pack at +/- 30 days per month means approx $150 a month more I can spend on beer and brewing. And already told my wife that's exactly what's gonna happen. Probably not going to increase volume, but I'm definitely planning some equipment upgrades. Quitting was my decision (even if spurred by illness), but she's gonna try and quit too, just in a little while. Both of us quitting at the same time would not be a good plan. :tank:

So how much of the Triple Bock were you able to choke down? ;)

Good for her! I quit 16 months ago. I still crave a good cigar once in while...

I say about most off the bottle. I'll finish it another day because I had many other beers to enjoy today and didn't want to wind out on the floor. I actually liked it better than the tactical nuclear penguin by brewdog. Not saying its good but better lol. Few friends and family I let take a sip hated it lol. More for me. :ban: its tolerable but thick as all get out. Once your done and clean the glass, don't pour it out and look. It looks like you have another beer in the glass. That stuff coats the glass. Glad I got to try some.

^ Wow, sounds like a serious beer. Not sure what goes into a triple bock, but after reading this, I think I want to find out haha. Anything that competes with the penguin has to be a serious brew.

Well, I'm glad I was able to share. It's so horrible, but one of those things you have to try for yourself. I rinsed out one of my bottles I opened and it is pretty nasty. The stuff formed a black film around the inside of the bottle that was difficult to get out. And yes the crap is thick. It coats your tongue like oil. Well, you drank more of it than I could handle. Not sure if that's good or bad on you. ;)

Right now, a Stone Enjoy By 04/01/13

So, I bought 2 of these the day they came out. The first 2 were great. Very tasty. The fresh hop flavor was incredible. I didnt want to rush out and buy another one, but it was a great beer.

I was at a local Whole Foods, and saw the beer again. I though, what the heck, I liked it, Ill try it again.

Now having this one, I am regretting the purchase. Its really not good at all. Not sure why this is so much worse that the first two. But, wow. After the Anti-Hero IPA, this is not good. Not sure if I can make it through the bomber of this. Slainte!!

I had one a week or two ago. The hop flavor was almost herby. Like basil and tomato leaves. Kind of strange. Guess I'm just used to the normal west coast cascade flavor hops.

I've been drinking a ridiculous amount of my Chocolate Orange Peel Stout tonight. I've been trying to kick this 2 1/2 gallon keg so I can fill it with DIPA this week. I even had a friend over tonight to help me. No luck. I guess I'll have to just bottle the rest off the keg.

New Belgium lips of faith series quadruppel with dates and cherries. Extremely delicious

Some java, black, and tepid.

Had a good brewcation, 2 weeks off, 50 gallons brewed, 2 relatives introduced to the hobby. Cleaned and organized my grain stores and inventory. started my hops a growin in the greenhouse, drank way too much homebrew.

Coffee lots of coffee to get through my first day back.

Is there such a thing?

yes. I'm guessing that he ran out ... at least that is the only way I know you can drink too much :mug: :tank:

Ran out?! Man wouldn't that be the day. 4 fridges, a full 12x3x8ft shelf in the cellar, 4 taps, and enough fermentors to open a homebrew shop. Ran out! Don't talk such sorcery!

Stopped at the local watering hole for a Yuengling Black & Tan...$2.50 for 20oz during happy hour.

Good, I'm not the only one. I'd die of alcohol poisoning well before I ever ran out of beer.

Kind of weird because it reminds me of a bud light sorta in away but has an awesome taste and aroma of the coriander I think in away. Bad at explaining my bad guys I'm off today work sucked lol

My supply is getting so big that I've taken to selling stuff out of the basement on Craigslist to make more room for beer! ;)

Most of the Craigslist caliber junk from the basement is sold, but I should set up at the flea market one of these weekends before farmers markets start again.

Enjoying some saison and making blackberry jam. Still have about 8 gallons from last year.

Sampling my Belgian IPA. Dry hopped with Sorachi Ace last Wednesday so I'm checking the progress.

And I just poured some Chocolate Orange Peel Stout. This keg has to kick before the evening is over. There can't be much left.
