HM Chinese rice wine. Nice balance of sweet and tart.

Went to dad's to weed whack or whatever ya call it. He's had ground nesting yellow jackets so the lower part of his yard is off limits for him, got it cleaned up, some bees came to say hi, man I'm tired of dealing with them. So had a troegs nimble giant he gave me from his kegerator for helping (not pictured) now a hb cream ale to cool down. Also made these bread and butter pickles for my step mom.

HB raspberry hard lemonade. It’s now on two taps. I kegged the cloudier one two days ago and made it more tart. It will clear over time. The clearer one is a sweeter version. We’re having a bunch of family over at the end of the month and they’ll have their choice of which one to have. The other kegerator has a Belgian Dark Mild and an IPA. 🍻

Cracked open the first bottle of HB malt liquor. Turned out just as I expected. Minimal hop bitterness, rich maltiness, nice corn sweetness. I think I'm going to like this. Imperial fizzy yellow beer. The gelatin did the trick. It would look clearer in the pic if it wasn't for the condensation on the glass.

Just to put a fine point on it…. Which would you rather have? A wimpified little pathetic and mundane becher of Düsseldorf Altbier or a huge and delicious Maßkrug of München Helles!

I know where my vote goes….and it’s not to the dinky little Altbier glass. In fact I have a new name for these dinky little Altbier glasses… henceforth I shall proclaim a new name for the becher…… “The Dinkster!”

So, tonight I’m doing double duty – working on these fabulous Hofbräuhaus Helles Lagers and a little feeble Dinkster of Altbier as a chaser. Funny how two groups can come up with completely opposite solutions to the same problem – how do we get more beer into our beer patrons? Multiple Dinksters served by some waiter-dude on a metal tray or BIG chug-worthy MasKrugs of Helles, preferably served by Kellnerin in their Dirndls! Munich has it figured out, Yeah! Prost!

Awesome, I can't wait to get my hands on some blue crabs. An acquaintance of mine does crabbing as a side hustle so I buy from him when I get the chance. Used to get them from my uncle but he's getting old and some health issues keeping him off the boat.

Didn't know what this was so decided to try it. Seems it's a Monster energy drink with the energy left out and alcohol put in. Closest I can think of is low carbonated Zima with way too much artificial sweetener. It really sucks.🤮 First alcohol I've put down the drain in quite a while!

I’m a newb, my wife is the pro. Apparently these were some big ones.
OT: more 60’ Dogfish Head is ~1.5 hrs from our lunch spot.
