Fun part was I'm having a good conversation on the side with one of his coworkers when he asked how I knew him. We're all having fun and I'm like who knows if I'll see this guy agsin. My reply

@day_trippr Ive met a far amount of people from HBT in person.
@MaxStout was the latest when he came to my area and we met up for lunch. We exchanged some home roasted coffee and he included some HBs.
Last November I finally got to meet @TheDudeLebowski as he mentioned. It’s crazy that was almost a year ago but we exchanged text messages on the regular.
Prior to that I’ve also met @RevKev and another fellow HBTer who’s account seems to be deactivated.
I’ll definitely try to meet up with others when I travel and can possibly make it work. @ThirstyPawsHB ans I tried to meet last year when I was in his neck of the woods but this thing called work ruined it all.
But going back to my TH check ins lately is due to a local friend who was in Boston for the Metallica concert in August. He was kind enough to bring back an order for me. But typically @TheDudeLebowski hooks me up. We have a good thing going.

Interesting that about the only place around here to get an authentic Vienna lager is from Mexico! Modelo sells a lot of this. You’d think maybe a couple of the European brewers would clue in, but noooooo!

That’s OK, I’m looking out for all you Vienna lovers and wannabes! Modelo produces their dark cerveza at a hearty 5.4% ABV. Very similar to the 1970’s pizza beers. This is a surprisingly refreshing and chuggable dark lager, more so than a lot of dark lagers. Not kidding you could hold this can in hand, pop the top, tip your head back a bit, open mouth wide and dump this entire 24 ounce can down the gullet! CHUG!

Really great having these available at most fine gas stations in California and the Southwest. Fill your tank, buy a couple cans and drink in a paper bag in the parking lot over by the dumpster while your wife waits in the car. Toss her the keys to drive and continue down the road. Enjoy!

You're not wrong about it being a great road tripping beer. When I did my cross country drive last winter I settled into an end of day routine that involved finding a local Latin American restaurant, ordering enchiladas, and knocking back a couple of Negra Modelos. They sure hit the spot after 14-16hrs behind the wheel of my small hairdresser's car.

I drank a lot of that traveling last month on my flights. I actually enjoy it.

Cellar raid as I start cooking dinner after coaching my daughter’s basketball team this morning. First game of the season we won.
Proud dad bragging here. She had the high score for our team and had the same amount of points the others team scored. But this team she’s on is an amazing group of girls!! I’m excited to be coaching this year.

SA Winter Lager with orange peel, cinnamon and ginger. TBH, I don't get the orange or cinnamon and the ginger is barely there. I do like the maltiness and mouth feel. Pretty good beer (which is fortunate since 8 out of the 24 beers in the variety pack are these), just not what I was expecting.

Bottled, sweetened and chilled my first arancello. It won't be my last! 50/50 Everclear to water, 3/8 tsp monk fruit liquid sweetener, great orange flavor. Very tasty. It was completely orange tinted clear but turned cloudy when I added water.

From Central PA, to treehouse, then NH to buy a car, then somehow made it back to equilibrium in time for food and beers before they closed found a crap hotel for the night, time for a nightcap. Not sure why you can't have Japanese maple in this hotel...

Home now and relaxing with a HB Vienna lager after the second day of hunting with my daughter this morning. We didn’t have luck yesterday, but found this big boy on my brother’s property this morning. Very nice Colorado plains mule deer. She’s done her part putting meat in the freezer this fall. Very proud.

Clean bill of health now for one month! WooHoo! Aaaaaand of course, we must sample the local offerings... but in moderation. It's nice to be back.

Having some beer, and not feeling guilty at all. All the heart stuff was solid, hemo is back to normal and we have found a solution to the low-T that is easier on the body!! Of course, I will look like the character on the beer can graphics, because I'm now a lightweight!

Might as well do it up right. 568mL DIPA from Dandy Brewing. It's (hic) not boozy at all, and strangely mild for a hi-test brew. These could be trouble! Cheers everyone.
