We had friends over for dinner and some home brews tonight. One asked me, "Have you ever made limoncello? I've heard you can make that. I love that stuff!"

Funny you mention it.

No, I've never made it, but have a bottle that @pshankstar sent me. I kept it in the freezer, along with a couple shot glasses. So I poured us some. Rich lemon aroma and flavor that opened up as it warmed in the glass.

I really need to make some of this.

The Spousal Unit and I were introduced to Limoncello while traveling the Amalfi Coast of Italy - where the lemons are cantaloupe size and grow everywhere. And almost everywhere we went for a meal we were offered it at some point, and we enjoyed it so much when we came home we started keeping a bottle in the freezer for those times you really want a lemon sweet tart - like right now

Well, it’s not the worst NA beer I’ve tasted, a little too malty, but the price wasn’t terrible and it has nice head retention. Going to a clam bake tomorrow and beer and wine is included.

DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus chocolate peanut butter porter infused with espresso. Not an improvement imo, just masks the sweet chocolate PB tastiness with coffee bitterness. Not terrible but I prefer the original.

Latest NEIPA - still carbonating but 1st pour after kegging. Smells, looks, and most important tastes great. An early smaller ElDorado dry hop with a large dry hop of Nectaron (8 oz) and some left over Citra (2 oz) for 5 gallon batch. I have the same grain bill and hops for another batch; only change will be this one was Verdant yeast while next will be New England. I could smell this all night - just love Nectaron hops - 2nd batch with this amazing addition.
