Another @pshankstar beer, Peanut Butter & Jelly Crunchee, from Other Half. A raspberry/peanut butter Berliner Weisse. Shared with a neighbor who loves PB beers and sours.

Didn't think I'd like it, but it worked for me. I have a general rule that I don't like sours, but with any rule there are exceptions. I would order this if I was at the brewery.

Followed by a Pseudo Sue. Lazy Sunday afternoon.

West coast Pilsner by pFriem Family Brewers.
Delicious.

Edited after a full pint and starting on a second.
This beer has a nice, smooth bitterness with floral and slight fruity notes.
A Pilsner I aspire to brew. Two thumbs up.

Finger lakes trip this weekend, had a bunch of good wine ( not a wine drinker at all) for a close friends 40th bday, had a whole group of folks I've known since elementary school on the trip, needless to say there was a sh** ton more drank that I even tried taking pics of, but here's a handful. Over the Christmas holidays I decided to make some mead just for fun. I followed the JAOM recipe. Here it is 5 months after bottling. It finished super dry - about 14.5% ABV. I've never even tasted mead before, but it's not bad! I'm not sure I'd bother doing it again though. It was an interesting project, for sure!

Black Velvet. Never heard of this (which makes sense because it's only been around since 1861) until I saw it touted on a cooking show this week. Decided to try since I had the stuff. 1:1 Guinness and sparkling wine (prosecco in my case). Fruity aroma. It took me a minute to get the flavor because it has been so long: Welch's white grape juice with a little bitterness at the back. Interesting and not bad but not something I'd write home about especially since I'm at home anyway.

I was not impressed with my first beer at all, ****** 10-second head, drinkable but not something I would buy.

Nothing is exciting about this beer except the head lasted 20 seconds. If I would brew a beer like that I would punish myself by jumping off the roof. A few years ago I had a good Weizenbier from them.

This beer tasted like a German Pils, with great aroma, and flavor but again a ****** 20-second head head.

They need to try drinking some Mexican beers first. The Pacifico and many others are a lot better-tasting beers.

I survived the night.

Tomorrow I drink a Bush or Yuengling.
