Last of my DIPA. Brewed this 4 months ago and it's held up quite nicely actually. Some hop aroma and flavor, bitterness is pretty good, pleasant sweetness in the background. And it's amazing what a few months in the fridge will do for clarity!

Haha, after the adrenaline settled out I realized the coffee was spilled. That year for Christmas my parents bought me a positive seal travel mug. Never again shall I spill the coffee.

Yup, best thing you can own as a jeeper.

Since I do spend most of my winter in Northern MA, aka...Sunday River

Well, needed a beer after my first/failed/last pasteurization attempt on a batch of caramel apple hard cider. After 2 blow ups and 2 venting out the caps, I decided not to proceed. Instead, I vented all the bottles, recapped and put them in the fridge.
So I'm drinking this.

Is that the cider from the million page thread here? If so I was going to try that next weekend.

My 1993 zj saved my life. Rolled it 4 times at 75 mph in the winter avoiding a moose, landed over the snow bank in the ditch. Winched my way out, drove home with a cracked windshield and a spilled coffee.

Still have it 215k

I have had my life saved by two Jeeps I rolled my ZJ once, rolled it back over and drove off without a scratch on myself at all. Second time I rolled my TJ 4 times and escaped with just 3 stitches.

Yes, that's the one. I went by the updated recipe in post #420. It turned out good, but next time I'll add a bit more cinnamon extract. I'll also stabilize before back sweetening and keg it instead of bottling and attempting to pasteurize.

Oh shyte! 2 Belgian blondes from dangerous man, HB citra blonde, mankato organ grinder, stone ruination, billy Klubb's horehound strong, clown shoes hoppy feet and galactica! This guy is drunk!!?

Now for the second pour from the bottle of RuinTen.

Also decided to order myself something to feel better about my crappy failed pasteurization attempt. Well, atleast that's the excuse I'm using. :D
After almost 8 years of brewing, I ordered my first kit. I never thought I'd order a kit, but I decided to take advantage of the free shipping deal from AHS. I ordered the Sour Ginger Peach Ale. I've been eyeing that one for a while, just never pulled the trigger.

being that Horehound Belg Strong is 10.5%, much else you mixing with it will do that to ya!:rockin:

My Double IPA with Simcoe/Citra. Mash hopped with Citra as well. This is literally the biggest citrus bomb I've ever smelled in my life. Extremely smooth for a double IPA with 110 IBUs. I can't wait to brew this again!

Dc Brau at the hotel. Finally...id had too much to drink to drive down here, but not too much for my wife to send me to park, after she'd accidentally grabbed my phone. Sober, I have the worlds worst sense of direction, inebriated....well there is some lovely architecture in downtown Philly.

Some masshole was trying to give a lady a hard time for drinking SNPA in the elevator, she politely told him to get effed. It was great.

Not impressed at all. Do you enjoy it? There are just too many other beers to drink that are way better.

While its certainly not my favorite beer, Ruination was the one beer more then any other that really got me into craft beer so it and Ruinten always hold a special place on my pallet....whats left of it.

I completely agree with you man. I work up near Stone and I have a hook up for growlers of all the special releases, but aside from Enjoy by and the new RIS, I'm just not too thrilled with them. That and their bistro menu is god awful.

Nothing just yet. Did score several bottles of Love Child no 3 today....for $12.50 a pop. The guy at the store told me distributor had the wholesale price wrong and he just passed the deal along. :D found some other goodies, too. Did forget to get some Panepot Reserva when I got so excited about the deal.

Mmmm. That's about the same price we get it here in kc .. sour yum ;)

AH i'm down here in Lemon Grove, so I have the South Park store only a few miles away, and the Liberty Station Brewery maybe 15 min away so I always have access to it too. I just got home from Liberty Station and some of there new menu items are amazing though, I could live off the quail knots, the Delicious IPA was on point too, but the wheat IPA was hot garbage and dark wit IPA wasnt anything special either.

That's how I feel about New Belgium. Used to buy all their stuff because it was accessible. Now I will drink a Fat Tire on occasion, but rarely by a six pack of anything.
