Ah no. Like you said exploring is fun. I have a bunch of quads and stouts in the cellar I haven't even tried yet. I'd be curious to hear what you think. In the end it's only opinion and pref 😃 I def need a westy connection. I think I finished my last bottle months ago
I'm only doing Westy 12 clones in 3.5 gal batches. I just don't have the equipment for a 5 gal batch - I've only got an 8 gal brew kettle, and that's just a little too tight for the OG. But I've done two of the smaller batches now, and I'm happy with the outcomes. Will definitely be on the regular rotation - once in the early fall, and once in the winter (until I can get a fermentation chamber set up).

HB Irish red.

Oatmeal Stout. The last pour from the keg, brewed from a partial mash kit from Northern Brewer. My first partial mash, and that's enough incentive to go all-grain now (at least BAIB). Brewed tons of pure extract kits, so this attempt was by far the best yet. Mmmmmm love it!
Agree as an all in one user good direction.

Also dark beer good choice for first brew on a new rig.

Doing a few access-related chores around my wife’s aunt’s house. It’s beer-thirty and my stash is in the mini fridge at our hotel. Found some of these in the back of the fridge here. Don’t see a date on the can but I doubt this tasted any better when it was fresh. View attachment 723476
Those are really nice ice cold in the summer. Put a few drops of Tabasco in it!

Californiacation! 😁 Every house sold is over asking price and on the market for only days, if even that. New construction won't even post a price, bid war only. The average price in Austin city limits has risen 24% in the last 12 months and now sits at $500,000.

OT... Unsweetened tea.
That's crazy. I should have bought the house there I was looking at back in 88' for 124,000. Bought a house in Fresno outside of Houson instead. Silly me
