HB Black IPA. I’ve decided, I’m never making a NEIPA again. I’ll buy them.....I just won’t make them. Every single beer at the packie is a NEIPA. It’s nice to brew other styles .....aka forgotten styles from circa 2010

Figures I ran out of spray and the one thing I need at home cheapo they’re out of. Gonna try dumping some distilled white vinegar down the hole and then cover with a rock. Will it work? Probably not, but I’m gonna have a Crusher while doing it, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Iowa pale ale...slightly more amber than the pic with a nice caramel sweetness in the finish. Not sure if I dig that or a west coast better. Any thoughts on how too get that big sweet finish on an ipa? Crystal, caramunich? Maybe 20%

Since I have the OH Freaky Friday HDHC version I had to try that next.
I prefer the non HDHC version this one has a slight spearmint taste to it.

Looks to be right up on HWY9 now. Getting better idea of the true nature of the fire today. The one by San Jose looks to be closing in. Brutal!

Everything West of Hwy17 is gonna be gone, watch. Big Basin SP visitor center has been reduced to ashes. The southern fires are nearly converged, the northern ones are also not contained. It's ape **** crazy!!

Last year we had to leave early because of power outages due to the fires, guess that's the downside to having the best weather in the USA. San Diego, in German it means a whales vagina....
