That's intuitively smart considering the acid. I would like to know how that turns out. Maybe give an update on the "What did you cook this weekend" site if that's what it's called.I’m marinating pork chops in pickle juice.
Did you "Destroyer" that beer?HB Stout. Poured in a nitro thingy used for cake icing.

I almost picked up a six of torpedo today !View attachment 690804View attachment 690805Fuzzy followed by two Torpedoes. It’s my father in-laws favorite beer so it’s always in the fridge. I really enjoy it too. I’ll probably get a third one after this post.
Off of work till August to help him with the demo and siding project without any interruptions.
Yeah, thanks, but not my best work. Costco's selling Dragon's Milk (11% ABV) and I haven't been too good about leaving them in the cupboard.I had to go back and look at the pic, nice pun

You need to get your photo squared away. How am I supposed to recognize you?Ok all fellow craft beer aficionados, there will be ZERO Stone Brewery beers ever posted again from me due to their BS sueing of micro/nano breweries around the nation because the word "Stone" is in the name. I certainly wouldn't want to create a movement.... but, in case anyone else is interested to follow suit
, feel free!
Ot....Milk for now
When you can walk its path, and leave no trace, you will have learned--I did NOT Google that.Patience grasshopper![]()

I'm pretty sure I don't think I get your post--If I'm being honest, I flat out don't. I'm sure it's awesome, subtle, cutting edge and appropriate....To date, no one's ever accused me of being the smartest person in a group! I saw your "grasshopper" reference, jumped on Kwai Chang Caine from Kung Fu.We are dating ourselves...
Thanks for the compliment, my dating ourselves comment, was about thinking we are not far apart in age having watched the same show, though you could be younger and watched it in reruns. You certainky remember more of it than I do!I'm pretty sure I don't think I get your post--If I'm being honest, I flat out don't. By the way, I learned a lot from that show. My parents had their hands full with seven kid. I was six of seven and by that time, my mother was understandably tired of the whole ordeal.
PS. Your cooking and cooking photos are admirable.
If its hotter than last Sat, that MISERABLE!Very refreshing, thanks @TheEagleRising for this beer. Just got done with a DIPA, West Coast with late fruit hop additions. Even hotter at the brewery than last Saturday @ TheEagleRising.View attachment 690817

Basically a brine for the pork. I’m sure it will turn out great. I brine the turkey every Thanksgiving and it is awesomeI’m marinating pork chops in pickle juice. Today is day 2. My coworker swears by this. I’ll try them tomorrow.
