Definately enjoyed the Petalz. I usually like funk over fruit but that Super Duper is super tart and really good. That blackberry is a good one. I find that fruit usually doesn't sour that well with the skins and seeds but that bottle is an exception. It's an interesting series from fresh to cellaring too. The super tartness goes away and fruit gets stronger.

Altes original Detroit lager, resurrected after many years being defunct. Taste pretty darn good. German style lager with hallertau hops. Met one of the owners at a store and he offered me a tour of the brewery. Cheers [emoji482]

Shed cleaning and after. Story: went to get a dusk mask at HB then Lowes..there are zero. Well they specialize in Saison beers but being and ipa lover and still scared to branch out much I tried their IPA and also their triple IPA.
Awesome beers!!!
The hop combo for their triple IPA was great.
Hazy in appearance, Chrisp, lots of fresh hop flavor and aroma.
Will have to try their Saison’s next time.
Just got home and wife tells me they are rated #9 brewery in the world. Yea, I said, that’s why I drove 6 hours today and oh yea, to also celebrate a family members B-Day. Multi trip?

Its my next brew. Will be splitting into (2) 3 gallon kegs. 1 with bourbon soaked oak, and 1 straight up.

Bottling 2.5 gal of mine Sunday, and then aging the rest in port wine soaked oak chips.
