Really liked #2! #1 had a sharper flavor to me. I’m no expert so #1 was probably something awesome. I like that you didn’t tell me what they were!

It lets you sample them without bias. I’m a little surprised 1 was sharper but everyone perceives differently!

It was the exact moment I found out what those things were that I fell in love with Carmel CA. Found an incredible bar in Carmel and then went to eat outdoors in chilly temps with one of those things humming next to us as we had an incredible meal.

Now to the whiskey. This bottle has been sitting in the cellar for a long time. Im always a sucker for chunks. Local distillery makes it with Maple syrup. All this whiskey talk. May as well hit some classic Eagle rare. One of the best samples that I’ve ever had was a 1979 Eagle Rare 10/101. It was superb. One of these days I’ll shell out $800 for a bottle. Not sure when but someday.

Our neighbors put their's on the sidewalk, swiped it because we just moved in to our house...no money, no fire pit. Used it once, hooked! It developed a massive crack that ran all around, up and down. Anyways, new chimnea now...for two people, perfect!

I’ll try to remember that you will be down there starting next month. I get down to RVA for a night every couple of months depending on my work travel needs.

Westvleteren 12, St. Bernardus 12, Rochefort 10 are my top 3. Westmalle and Chimay arent too far behind. The Spencers stuff is pretty tasty too
