Lunch and a sample of my first ever saison straight from the unitank. At 8.4% ABV you could definitely get in trouble with this one. So smooth you'd never know it had such a high ABV.
Based on actual volume at time of adding hops.I brew very few ipa's but I'd like to change that. So I have another question for you. RE: your wp hop addition. The 1oz per gallon, is that based on the wp volume of wort in the kettle, or based on your predicted amount of bottled/kegged beer?

This year's been a butt-kicker. Short version, I'm working on the eulogy for my dad. This was a couple days ago, it was really good. Today was a couple Pliny's and a Brewery X Double Hazy. So far. There's still a lot of daylight left.
