My 12.5% ABV Belgian Quadrupel HB. Anything over 10% gets its own holiday in my household. For all those dry yeast users, you can do it. I've gotten as high as 13% with dry yeast. Granted, sugar is going to be a big factor. The beer pictured is good at this point and will only get better.
I've taken the advice here on HBT and added extract as late as possible. Quads and Trippels, for some reason, carbonate at a drop of a hat (sugar, I suppose). It's more than drinkable already at three weeks in the bottle. I'm looking forward to the next six months. I've got plenty of Trippels to distract me while I wait.

At Costco.
Yeah, I didn't get that. My wife and I saw it, tried to make sense of it and didn't really. My impression was that it was kind of sheepy. I could be totally wrong but that's what it seemed like.
I'd be happy to have someone explain the box to me.
