Ahhhh I now understand their serial numbers I think I actually found a 2015 or 16 based upon the looks of it. I've been a big fan of high west rye blends I haven't tried much other than those.The bottle is cool. Definitely looks hand blown. The whiskey is 2017 release. The bottler is pretty open about what they do. It’s blended from a very large distiller in Indiana whose business is just making whiskey for others.
It’s really good but I’ve had better for less money. This stuff was more pricey than most of the single malt scotches I don’t buy due to high valuation.
As far as flavor, I found it to be oak dominated. I was looking for more caramel, vanilla and stone fruit, and I didn’t taste that first time around. Reminded me of a smoother knob creek.
