I wasn't aware of this meme nor do I understand the confusion about it. I suppose both because the DC area is the only place in the US that has Nando's, and because I understand English English.

Thats ok. When I told my boss I want to be made salary, and asked why it was not an option at my last review.. since I do his job as well as the jobs of three others when they are not here (often times, when they are here). He said it was just because I don't have the "experience" yet.

Just the other day, I had to teach him how to create viewports in CAD.

I've made a list. My 2 yr review in October will be hell for them.

My wife is a L&D nurse, quite often she has delivered babies on her own because the doctor didn't make it. I have told her that they need to petition that if they deliver they baby they should get the doctor's pay for that delivery. I am sure that would go far.

I have some fond memories of sending a boot down to the motor pool to get two quarts of blinker fluid. He was gone for an hour and twenty before realizing it was a fools errand.
Also fun to ask for were to find and bring fifty feet of flight line (50' of landing space)

My mother lives up in Wichita Falls and they have had flooding the past couple weeks. Considering they had been in a severe drought for a long time, that is a huge blessing for them. Hope it doesnt get too bad for you!
