Well. Are you familiar with hobbit toes the name that was used for a bit for Saisons? After that everything saison became some sort of hobbit toes. Hibiscus saison being red in my opinion would be severed hobbit toes or some other form since it is red.

I do. I'll see if I can PM it to you. It's mostly about the yeast though. I used an ECY Saison strain for primary on that one and then hit it with ECY Dirty Dozen in the secondary. I can send you another bottle or two if you want to harvest some dregs since the yeast may be tough to come by.

Coffee. Its chilly out there. I need to figure out why it is that I am exhausted at night, go to bed, fall asleep quickly (all good so far) then wake up less than half an hour later and cant get back to sleep for hours (less good). Last night I was in bed by 9:30, didnt get to sleep for real until 12:30 and was up at my normal time of 5:30. This cannot continue.

Nah - just had teacher conferences and then watch the walking dead before an early bedtime. Heading out to my folks mid-afternoon. 10 hours of boring roads with an early stop at the in-laws for dinner and to drop of the pup.

*edit* - French press as soon as the kettle heats up. First of steady coffee infusion for the day.
