Coffee while reading on the PLCB proposal for limited releases. I wish they would just switch to gladiatorial combat for the Pappy release, at least then I know I ATLEAST have a chance.

Soon JK is going to initiate Thunderdome to get any of their beers. 2 men enter 1 beer leaves.

Hey, I took down a loft we had built for the son when he was younger. If you can use any of the wood, you're welcome to it!

Do you have 4 pieces about 6-8" wide with two of them being about 3' long and the other two about 2' long and they're all the same thickness? ;-)

I'd be ok with Thunderdome, too. Its fair to everybody, fair insofar as every body reacts the same way when punched in the throat.

I'm a fan of the way Casey and Perennial are doing it. Tickets via the Internet get you in the door and guaranteed bottle amounts. Casey has the purchase price of the ticket go to a charity, Perennial had a portion of the ticket price go to a charity.

OT: water in the office...

I'd be really into that, but it's difficult to get excited about a lottery drawing state wide for 17 bottles of something when accusations of corruption against the liquor control board are thrown around every other day. This at least makes it a little bit more transparent on what they are doing, but until they start doing a live drawing on TV that is being monitored by the Dali Lama, I have an inkling that there will be a fix on this.

Yeah - i'm sure there is always a way to rig any system they put in place. Perennial had an issue with the ticketing system crashing when it was supposed to open up, but they got it resolved in under 30 minutes. Casey has a bottle release on Saturday, ticket sales opened this morning and are still available and it's killing me that I can't go.

Mark had a pretty good shot at a bottle last year. It was in his cart on the site and it crashed. Apparently everything was gone with in 18 seconds and there are rumors circulating that most of them went to people associated with the board or their companies.

Let me know when it is and I'll give it a shot for you.

Yeah, that was a cluster**** for sure. With the new lottery system, I'm one and one - got a four roses single malt small batch and missed on buffalo trace. Won't say it isn't gamed ( it is PA and PLCB) but seems better.

Water, now and for the next six days. :(

For those of you out of state, this is also a valuable tool. The count down is based on last years release, but from what I gather it's mostly centered within a day or two of the same date.
With the new PLCB rule, there will be an email blast going out to everybody signed for it to give us the specifics about signing up for the lottery. If I land a bottle I'll share some with you when you start your new job.
Will you be in center city of a satellite branch? We are moving next week to 8th and Callowhill, but I plan on coming back often to visit my beer shops lol

Might believe you if I saw a bottle, wait you couldn't brew something that looked that good, love that stuff, need to go to the basement.
It that this years?

The goat thread is elsewhere:D

This years? Need! Must find!
Had a couple IPAs, time for a dogwalk, why the **** is it dark already!

This year's. It was a great beer.

And I don't care if you don't believe me.

I'll join ya. Cheers!

Service is out again. After two hours getting sent up the chain, i cancelled comcast. They've had a month to get service restored and i am out of patience.

I cannot get FiOS and Verizon DSL, while available, is less than half the speed for the same cost, and a last resort.

I need other ideas. Any satellite or 3g/4g provider seems to be prohibitively expensive, and i don't know of any alternative wired option other than Earthlink which is as much as Verizon for even less speed.

HALP

Drinking water. Then gym. Then whisky.
