A little sample from my Mt Ranier and Citra hopped ale that I racked to tertiary yesterday. I used some regular red cherries in secondary and got a little color from them, as well as flavor.

That sucks. Some people just have a grudge against people. Hope its not true. Try to fight it if you can to a someone over their head.

Yeah, that didn't go my way. Next ring up the ladder is the guy that hired me. He hates breaking chain of command so I have to let **** hit the fan harder before I go there. It won't matter though, at that point he would have a three tier attitude adjustment on his hands and he does not have time for that.

2nd one and nightcap. I envy all you day shift people because espnu is running my beloved Buckeyes' entire championship season 26 consecutive hours of Buckeye glory. Sadly I just worked 13 hours and have another 13 hours to do tonight so it's off to bed. Thank goodness for the dvr. Enjoy but No spoilers please. GO BUCKS!!!!

I might break down and order a Birdseye one.

Trying to get everyone ready for church. Need coffee.

Need coffee but someone's passed out next to the generator. The guy who's party this is, is passed out on the floor but luckily we made a rule that he had to wear a life vest after a certain amount of booze. Awesome.

Instead of coffee- Coors light.

Full throttle... Bout to take the fam on a little hike. Maybe brew later and definitely going to make some beef stroganoff in the crockpot on this cold windy day.

Coffee #2 at work. Have a family picnic for the clients from 12-3, but working 8-4 today to get set up and put away. At least I get a different day off later in the week...

Working weekends has its obvious downsides, but it's hard to beat having weekdays off to get stuff done without all the people.

Well looks like I flipped the wrong switch last night when going to bed, turned off the fermentation chamber and not the light. Drunk mistake. It was warm in there... Haha this could be bad

Alright folks, no one I know IRL has the answer so im asking you all: going to a. Wedding next weekend with my GF. Gonna be a groomsman (tux rental) and staying 2 nights at the hotel - was planning on paying for the wedding dinner (cash gift), is a gift on top customary if I'm in the wedding party?

I'd say no. In fact, I thought a little gift to the groomsmen and bridesmaids was customary. Note, never been in any wedding but my mom's and I hate weddings.

Waiting for auto-tune to finish so I can refill my glass and then test the boil kettle for leaks.

Oh and if I chill my wort to 80F and stick it in a ferm chamber to chill the rest of the way, is there a huge risk of infection? Trying to sort of plan for how it could go with chilling for the first time without ice water. I know, newbie question.

That's how I have been getting down to pitch temp this summer, much easier.
Cool as low as it will go, aerate, in to chamber.
Allway willing to help out a noobi.:p

hmmm... ok. Anyone else? This guy is a good college buddy and we work in the same field, but he's marrying a Pharmacist (talk about earning power) - don't wanna seem cheap but as-is its looking like this is running me about $1k+. Man, I'm going to do a simple affair if mine won't elope.

Also - you'll be fine as long as your carboy is sanitized (or if you leave it in your boil kettle) - people do no chill which is even sketchier.

Edit: Spilled half that Weisee (grumble grumble, top heavy glass)
