Bought SWMBO a new refrigerator just now. Just so I can take the one currently in my kitchen and turn it into an adult beverage dispenser.


Coff #3 after hauling some wood into the house. It's pretty cold this morning.

@Billy-Klubb - keg or bottle doesn't matter, but you can only drink it from a thistle glass!

I find the Spiegelau stemmed tulip works quite well for scotch ales.

Drink it fresh. The coffee fades over time. If it is a 2013 bottling, drink them all. If it is 2014, drink two now and save two to drink over the next 6 months, if you are so inclined.

But I would drink them all fresh, IMO.

After having 1, I think a few months would help, few more maybe not soo much

I'm having the dregs and broth from my kid's ramen. Chicken broth can't hurt, these days! Oh, and I tested my KitchenAid juicer/sauce attachment and squeezed out a little apple/pomegranate juice.

Little experiment with sulfate. Added a little gypsum to my IPA. .1g was a little too much.

What size pour? Because yeah, 0.1 gram gypsum into a pint adds a lot of sulfate. Maybe not excessive if the beer had low levels to begin with. But you're adding a lot of it.

Finally kegged my Jolly Holly ale and my Mosaic SMaSH IPA. I thought I had two clean kegs but I didn't so I had to wash one. Can't wait to try them. The SMaSH could have used gelatin, but it'll be fine.

A little over 12 oz. An intentional experiment to see what another ~10g would do to a 10 gallon batch.
