You might want to check out http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/all, as far as I know... the Autodesk products are free for students.

I used CAD/Revit/Inventor for free throughout college. Not sure their definition of 'student' if you're talking high school or something else.

Students in Electrical and Computer Engineering is whom I deal with. I will look at that link.

Germans have long been producing very good software, often for free or not expensive. I am nearly fluent in German, are you?

Unfortunately I am not. I speak a little Spanish and Southern. I have not mastered Southern yet, despite being raised in the south.

I would , but you know the whole ethics thing. Our students do not have course work around CAD, we have a laser cutter that the senior design students can use. Well the laser cutter was not being used properly and ultimately damaged. So I am the lucky one over the laser cutter now.

They switched us to hourly and also made us take a pay cut. When we're slow like we were today i make f*** all now. Would have rather stayed home drinking.

I need a different job. Had an interview for an already filled job over the weekend, but no one else is returning calls including the bastards who were supposed to have given me a job 6 months ago. So i feel you.
