32 Oz of water.

Is there anything better than fresh rye toast with butter? No, there isn't.

Oh, I don't know. There's coffee and this:

@supervisingchildren I hope your boy is okay.

More coffee. What a morning it has been so far.

It has occurred to me that I could probably sell my induction cooktop because the receptacle installed for it is now no more. I cannot think of a good reason to keep it otherwise.

I have been drinking so much water, my toes have fused together and I have what appears to be gills behind my ear.

I suppose if the world floods I can use myself for bait and catch an ugly but delicious fish.

Been hitting the coffee pretty hard today. I kind of got used to the weather being in the mid-80s and sunny and not having to wake up until after 7am. 5:30 arrived way too early this morning. Why would I tease myself with a 3 night trip to a more tropical climate?

Coffee. Wondering why schools would release early for rain when it's not freezing yet and isn't supposed to until after dark.

Full Throttle... but I'm thinking about beer.

Decided to drill a hole in my fridge for a gas line so I can fit 4 cornies in the thing! It wouldn't have been so bad to have the tank in there if it wasn't bigger than my damn kegs.

Sample of my lemon drop SMaSH to add a 2 oz dry hop addition and a sample of my so-called india red ale...that needs to go into the keg now. The lemon drop is about 1.005 and the IRA is 1.006. Both are US-05 IIRC.

Thinking I'll take advantage of the 57º weather and run my motorcycle down for inspection.

Water on lunch break while bouncing between plants. It hurts my soul to drink water while staring at a zombie dust tap.

Drinking a pint and a coffee-mugs' worth of water.

And I wish you, sir, many more fine drinks tonight. Although, I admire your fearlessness with mixing liquor and beer. Did the JD run out?:D

Well it's a 3 liter bottle of JD soooo it's been there for a while and decided on the every other beer for liquor. Bad idea, feeling it this morning.

I'm having some top quality H2O.

I'm sure he'll bounce back quick. Little dude was running around the house this morning and wayyyy
too perky after my 4 hour nap last night.

You gonna switch over to gas from induction?

Whoopsy I apologize. I blame this iPhone.. And how tipsy I got.

Hahaha no worries.

Afternoon coffee. Need caffeine.

Drinking water before I go play basketball with some friends.

For those in CT/RI who are interested, there is going to be a New England Brewing and Stone tap take over at engine room tonight starting at 5. The NEBCO beers are going to be Imperial Stout Trooper, Gandhi, and Fuzzy Baby Ducks. Going to be too crazy out there for me, but just wanted to give any who might be interested a heads up.

That's insane. I think NEBCO was at P16 recently. I wouldn't be caught within a 15-mile radius of that place during a NEBCO tap takeover.

In other news, NEBCO has a few of the older fat teners on along with IST on-tap for today. I'm staying my ass home. :D

Yeah, I saw a bunch of their rare stuff being posted on Untappd the other day at P16. BA IST sounds amazing, but I agree with you, not going anywhere near a NEBCO tap takeover.

Going to keg an apa in a couple hours, normally carb at 30 psi. If I use a 2.5 gallon keg this time, should I use a different setting or does keg size not make a difference?

I'm quite sure 30 psi is 30 psi, regardless of vessel size.

Y'all, I got somethin' right outta Weird Tales for ya. I've been sittin here most of the day writing more of my 2nd home brewing book. I started getting thirsty for a brew after writing about it all day. Completely understandable, right? Well, i'm down on cash with more real estate bizz & no beer quite ready yet. I was contemplating sticking an ESB in between the curtain & window next to me to chill a little & crack one. I then decided to stick my hand in there to see how cool it was. I found a forlorn bottle of Magic Hat's HI.P.A.! Just barely cool a little. I said F**** it & popped it & poured in a no-knick glass.
As soon as I opened the bottle, it smelled a bit catty. Aw, schnikes, it's gone off! Dammit! But under that, I smelled something old...something I've not smelled or tasted for for some 50 years. I raised it to my lips & hoped for the best. It tasted like those lagers with that "good beer flavor" I talked about in my Brew & A interview! Hard to explain, but good to taste the old days again! :rockin::mug:
