Currently in London for the holidays. Sampling every Belgian I can find (and they have a bunch!) If you're ever here hit Belgo. They have a great Belgian selection. Also try Brew Dog...a great selection as well. I check back later...when I find magic!

I've never had '05. Had the original ('00) back in the day. Someone posted '05 in another forum recently and said it wasn't holding up very well.

Farmhouse pale. Weird how much this beet smells like feet / funky cheese when opened and how that disappears and just leaves tropical hops. I think the tropical hop have lots of sulphur compounds iirc.

Reading Yeast right now and just read over this topic although I haven't seen it mention a specific type of hop it states that sulphur is a small part of the hop oils. Really digging this book.
