Having a quiet day with the misses before we go back to our respective parents tomorrow. I have a flight to catch and the weather is looking a bit dodgy.

How did they compare?

Yesterday was a blast of beers and a 3month old that went on a rampage.

The '12 was more subdued and smooth. What little hotness there was in the 2013 was gone in the '12.

I got more dark toffee and chocolate in the '13.

I've got a barley wine to try too, looking forward to that.

coke and I just found out that I placed 3rd with my winter wonder ale beer in a local competition. I'm damn excited. No prize other than a ribbon but I'm very happy to have even placed.

First of the all grain hard rootbeer not sure if I forgot some brown sugar or what but it came out alil light colored but still tastier then hell, abv is Rollin in around 8% on these babies tooImageUploadedByHome Brew1387733960.394016.jpg

Good day, everyone.

Having a HB Tripel in a red Solo cup. Why not? No need to get buzzed and drop glassware in the garage.

Making a Warrior Pale Ale.

Brewdog prototype 2013 - Hobo Pop. It's a hoppy American style wheat, although if I didn't know it was a wheat I wouldn't be able to tell. It tastes a lot bigger than the 4.5% it is, and it's incredibly clear. If you told me it was an American Pale Ale I wouldn't twig that it was supposed to be a wheat.

Halfway through Scrooged.

Drinking some Coff after two quick beers (10% Tripel and 8% DIPA).

Icing on the cake.

That rocks! Congrats! I may finally enter a couple this coming year.

High Gravity? Does that mean it makes you fall faster??

That's friggin awesome! Congrats.

I'm drinking one of my Irish Reds. Not my favorite, but it was my first brew. Three went into the chili and I just had to have one...you know, since I was popping tops and all.

Turn that dang mobile signature off!

Started out with Anchor Steam "Our special ale" it's fantastic but low abv. Next, hitting the "Ginger Bread" by Bison. Gotta keep it interesting while making Xmas cards with the wifey.
