Battle of the HB Belgian Dubbels. Bottled vs Kegged

Carbonation is much different. Bottled is more bubbly as Duvall might be. Kegged is more silky smooth. Aroma is the same. Flavor is interesting. Bottled is more fig/plum forward and sweeter, unexpected. Kegged is more mushy/grainy with a little unpleasant bitter bite at the end. Less fruity. Enjoyed the bottle much more, fascinating!

For me, the presentation of a beer is critical. If a beer looks muddy (unless the style calls for it) and foamless, my brain makes me believe it's not a quality beer.
I’m with you , Claudius B . Even if the style calls for it cloudy or foamless beer has no appeal . That’s why I never brew nor drink Hefes , NEIPAs , very strong ales etc . Having said that Porter and Stout can park their slippers under my bed any day ..
