Disco Legs DWCIPA by local Banded Peak Brewing. This is a winner! Not boozy at all for 8.1%, and even though the IBU says 90, it isn't very bitter. Very nice! This one has finalized my next recipe...now to get some hops&grain!

I don't usually have the time or liver enzymes to drink commercial beers, but I'm planning a tasting of local-(Indiana, Michigan, Illinois)-only beers, and needed to figure out what was going in the "NEIPA" slot. This'll do nicely.

J J Blonde after helping to set up part of the small town agricultural trade show which has been held annually in the metropolis of Harlem, MT since 1949. My family has been involved with this production almost since the beginning. Our son and DIL are the co-chairs of the committee which organizes the event and are the 3rd generation of our small clan to put on this show.
Felt like something a bit different today.
In the “sour” category for Indiana beers. It’s interesting, but I’m not sure about it.

This one doesn't do it for me either. It mostly takes like alcoholic wood (in kind of a good way, but still: alcoholic wood). If you know of a great sour from Indiana, Illinois, or Michigan (or other great beers from these states), please chime in with this thread.

Home brewed Munich Dunkel. Came out spot on!
HB bock. First pour and only about ten days in the keg. Needs some time to clear a bit but I’m very happy with it.
