Homebrewed wild ale with my house culture. My 4 and 2 year old sons helped me pick 6 lbs of wild black caps from the rail trail this past summer View attachment 809233
I'm not familiar with the term Black Cap, what is it? If it's Blackberries, I did the same with my daughter a few years back and made a wheat beer with them. Anyhow, your HB looks great!

Thanks man. In the northeastern US we have wild black raspberries that pretty much grow every where on the outskirts of forests or wooded area. I grew up calling them blackcaps

There's a beautiful area north of here called Burnt Timber, and this would be a perfect campfire beer when I go fishing there this Spring. Born Brewing Co. is really on point. 👍 I think this is the best roasted coffee Porter I have ever had. Wow..just incredible.

As it warms up, there's some chocolate coming through, and it's not boozy at all for 9% abv. I hope they make this one a regular...or I'll try and buy a whole bunch of them before they're gone. Great way to start the night. Cheers! :coff4: :mug:
