Finally get a day off work and spent all day driving a foster bunny around. Oh and got one more. So me and this giant hunka dude are having a Suarez Kellerbier.

Do you have your raspberry lemonade recipe written up somewhere on this site? I think I asked you about it one other time but I can't find it. The pics I've seen of it here look so good.

If my memory is correct @camonick shared this from @ThirstyPawsHB and I used it as a template to make it myself. It was a hit with a lot of friends on a camping trip. The friends at HB club said it was far better than a Mikes Hard Lemonade. So I would say it’s a win & a solid recipe.

That's the one! Tweek it as you see fit.

Inaugural test of the converted cooler. Doing a French Toast Stout for the middle boy, my dark beer lover.

Wife's brother/SiL (etc) moved to Michigan earlier this year, and we went out there last week to visit them for the first time. They're just outside of East Lansing, bought a cool old house, and are settling in. Nice, relaxing time...drank a lot of mead

Their little house

Other sister-in-law brought brother-in-law a bottle back from Scotland. We had a few pulls from it over the course of the week.

We had the clover (not pictured) and the buckwheat. The clover was clearer and smoother - a clean mead, if you will. This was not.

Buckwheat mead - more depth than clover mead

We drank two of these

Lots of mead drinking - blackberry honey mead

My suegra made some sopes - they're all disappointed in the lack of Mexican grocery stores (rather, the quality of ingredients from the existing stores). Tasted fine to me :)

Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your wonderful time. Family, alcohol and good food...nice blessing. Won't hold it against them with that East Lansing Spartan thing...😄. Always loved your unique posts. 🍻
