What am I walking into

The warmer months are heading towards us fast, so I wanted to brew a nice, easy drinking, refreshing beverage. I wanted something close to a blonde ale. This is an all extract boil with several hop additions (all German Hallertau). First problem, even though I split the DME additions 1/2 at the start of the boil and the rest at 15 min I still ended up too dark of a color. Next I used safale T-58, I never use this one before and even after 10 days in the primary I still have good chunks of yeast floating at the top of my car boy. Im not sure if this is normal for this strain but out of the dozen or so other brews I've done I've gotten good flocculation within a week. And finally I am almost certain my fermentation temps were to high. I leave the car boy in my spare bathroom which ambient temp usually stays in the low sixties but we had a good string of warm days and the room temp hovered around 70. Been in the primary for 10 days now, so did i just make a train wreck or am I being a nervous nelly?

Boil size: 1.5 gallon
Boil time: 60 min
OG: 1.060 (over shot target)
IBU: 26

1.25lb Briess pilsen light DME (10oz at start, 10oz at 15min)
6g 60min Hallertau
6g 15min Hallertau
3g 5min Hallertau
Irish moss
Safeale T-58
Ice bath to cool wort (took about 40 min to get down to 74F)
Pitched at 72F

Airlock started bubbling after 6 hours. Krausen formed in about 12 then fell after day 2. Yeast balls still floating near top after day 10?????

You made beer, it might be more estery than intended but will probably be drinkable. Reports of banana when fermented above 68f.

You made a nice Belgian blonde. T-58 at those temps will be pretty estery but in a good way. That yeast takes a long time to fall out of suspension I would give it at least 2 weeks in primary and if you have the ability to cold crash at the end of the 2 weeks that will help.
I've made some pretty blonde partial mash beers in the past using that exact same DME and I used a 1/4 of it at 60 minutes and the other 3/4 at 5 minutes being careful to get it well stirred so it didn't scorch on the bottom of the pot.
