I just made a starter for an IPA that I'll be brewing shortly here. I picked up some Inland Island Colorado IPA yeast, and I've got brownish chunks floating throughout it. It's got a packaged date of 2/26.

I'm wondering if it's nutrient? What do you think?

Also I'd like to note that looking at the vial again makes me wish I had swirled a little bit of water around, and poured it in the starter.
