Back in high school during my one computer class we had a tree outside the window that grew berries of some sort. If they were left undisturbed for quite a while they would end up fermenting and we would have drunk birds that would swoop down from the top of the building and fly headfirst into the windows. The one door to the outside had some thin windows and we had a bird fly right through it, they ended up just putting up a piece of plywood to stop the birds from breaking into the other parts of the door (multiple panes)
