Sounds like several cases of this are still left for Tuesday, if anyone is still looking. I really hope Westbrook does post on their Facebook page when it sells out, the lulz should be substantial.

Wow, I'm surprised it's lasted this long. Still have no regrets not going up to get some, I think.

I so hope BA Mexican Cake is a silent release this year, even if I miss out on it. The online histrionics will be worth it.

I hope they do this so I don't have to decide if I want to go or not... because while I really don't want to get up that early to go to something like this, if I knew the date ahead of time I'm pretty sure I'd get suckered into it.

where can i see these people complaining lol

Mostly Westbrook's Facebook page (on one of the "posts to page" in particular), but I suspect if the regular Mexican Cake release is any indication it will get way worse if they decide to announce that it's sold out (when that inevitably happens tomorrow).

Don't know if anyone lives near the brewery or not. 2015 BA Mexican Cake is on tap right now in their tasting room, per their website. Not selling any bottles. A few days ago on Facebook they posted: "16 used bourbon barrels for sale, $50 each. First come first served!" Not sure if 16 barrels would be for 1 variant or all variants. No mention of bottles for sale at the brewery.

Saw this today!

Lots of overreaction on Westbrook's Facebook page to the fact that the tasting room is closed today, including people asking when the BA Cake release will be. Don't you (referring to anyone posting such comments) think that if they were going to tell you, they'd make a public post about it? Separate silent releases spread out over a few weeks is my guess too.

I need to go down this week anyway to get the oil changed on my car before driving to FoFA so I'm sure I'll check if anything is going on.

And judging by the size of those label rolls there looks to be a lot more of the Cognac variant than the other two.

Doesn't surprise me if that's the case given the size of the cognac barrels I saw at the brewery. But holy **** were those barrels in some rough shape. 1978 dates on them too!

The Pritchard's barrel I got smelled fantastic.

Was perusing a thread on the other channel and apparently some dude sent his mom down to Westbrook today from over an hour away just in case the beer got released. Sounds like she was pretty pissed when there was nothing to buy!
I blame the guy who posted this on Westbrook's Facebook page:
Damn tons of people already in line, think it's going to sell out today better hurry over now.
Julian, please;).

Nothing for sale yesterday and I doubt that changes today, but some nice beers on draft (Bourbon Can Can and Rum barrel Smoking Guns). Sat next to a guy that got to hear the whole mom mule thing first hand on Wednesday, was hilarious. She had no clue what she was even supposed to be getting other than the "bourbon aged beer" or something like that. When they told her it hadn't even been released she asked if they had some to sell her anyway since she drove all the way down from Columbia.

Mom mule might be my new favorite saying

Sounds like Citrus Ninja Exchange is being released today, nice beer that should show up in distro here in a week or two.

Also BBL Captain Skoon Ballistic Stout is on draft which is almost worth the drive down to Charleston by itself.
