As usual, the pre-event mega-hype was just that...hype. So many dramatic, cynical idiots out there that are clueless and just love to be negative. Exact same thing happened with the Memorial day "perfect storm" in Waterbury.

...At least reading all of the hype is entertaining.

Westbrook released a pair of barrel-aged quads called Can Can this weekend. I had one of them on draft during Charleston Beer Week (at least I think that's what it was - it was just called Jack Daniels BA quad at the event I was at) and it was quite good, lots of barrel presence. There's also a wine barrel version. Anyone try these?

Sounds like some limited distro is planned, probably a case here and there to the usual suspects. Besides BAMC I think every release at Westbrook has gone into distro to some degree. Can Can, Black Magic Panthers, etc. all saw distro.
