I remember those days when the little guys would pop up, such an exciting moment. Almost as exciting as the harvesting day, pulling down 16' high trellises and picking hop cones.

No doubt. I was pretty excited to see that little guy this week. After the long winter I was wondering when they might start popping up.

Not sure about your area, but here in Wisconsin the winter was very mild, hardly any snow. Things were budding out too soon and the robins returned early. Strange year.

I'm in Kentucky. Truthfully, our Winter wasn't any longer than normal. Just seemed like it to me.

I think that's what winters are supposed to be. I look at winter as a break from the other three seasons.
