Weird green spongelike layer on the lid my IPA??? is it ok?

I have a weird green spongelike layer on the lid of my IPA. Is that ok??

I can't see any pictures, but I'll bet that it's hops.

Usually when you dry hop (like most IPAs), you use pellet hops (due to availability) and the resulting sludge looks kinda nasty.

You need to post your pics to imageshack,photobucket,or the like first. Then post the pic link here. NM,see'em now. That's left overs from the krausen. I get that on wild blow offs. Renders my clear lid top on my Cooper's micro brew FV useless.
 
That is hop sludge? Looks more like the bucket filled to the top with krausen and some got stuck on the top. Either way that is a tasty looking beer you have going there ;)
