Just finished a bottle of this tonight. I thought Optimator was a good Dopplebock till I tried Korbinian. I love it. It's less sweet and has more of a bread-crust taste than Optimator - more like a "double dunkel". I saw a thread that claims this is made with an ale yeast. It's hard to believe that unless it's a really clean ale yeast and it's still lagered well.
