Yes done by Ward. Sample taken after 5 minute cold side purge. Area is North Charlotte (Highland Creek - western edge of the University Area).

Thanks, can I ask what water additions you made if any? I brew pale ale's predominantly. According to EZwatercalculator I need to add some acidulated malt, calcium chloride and epsom salt
 
I use about 1.4 grams CaCl2 in 5 gal and nothing else with water like this. This will give you about 20 ppm Ca++ and 36 ppm Cl-. That's more calcium than Pilsen water but not enough to destroy the 'soft' quality of the beer. The mash gets 2 - 3% sauermalz.
 
Thanks, I'm just delving into water chemistry. It started with finding a way to remove chlorine from our wonderful charlotte tap water. then a complete look at the profile and potential additions.
