I will be doing my 1st AG Batch this Saturday. I have newb question, so don't laugh at me. I have a 3-tier gravity system with 3 converted sanke kegs.

When/Where do I add the water salts?
My guess is in the Mash tun before I add the grains?

For a 10 gal. batch, I usually add 2 tsp. gypsum to the mash water. Seems to help with my mash efficiency. There is a lot to learn in the realm of water chemistry, I'm still studying in this area.
