Hi there folks

I am going to make some cider from concentrate, and was wondering if i need to bother with the type of water i will be using to dilute the concentrate.

Since we are sanitizing all the equipment for any contaminants (wild yeast and other bacteria), should i bother with boiling my water prior to the dilution?

I will be using filtered water.

Thanks in advance

I personally get a 5 gal refill of RO water from the local store so it's filtered, RO'd and UV'd to be neutral and clean tasting. And only about 2.00 here. I also boil my water for 10 mins to consider it ready for beer/cider.
Novice, so take that with a grain of salt.
