Ok so I want to test my water before I get into batch #3. I want to check off this box and make sure my water isn't an issue.

So I'm here ready to order:

https://producers.wardlab.com/pay/order-brewers-kit.php?step=1&op=kit

I see three options for purchasing:

* W-5A Brewer's test kit: $42
* W-5 Complete Household mineral test kit: $42
* W-6 Household mineral test kit: $35.75

Do I need all of those?

Or just the brewer's test kit for $42?

I really don't feel like paying $100+ for this test.

Thanks

You only need one, order up a 5A and call it a day :mug:

Edit: Hell, you could even order a 6 and save a few bucks. Only things 5A has that 6 doesnt is iron and phosphorus, and they aren't required inputs on Bru'n Water

In a thread a couple years ago Martin, who seems to be the water expert around here, recommends the 6 test since I guess you don't need phosphorus. So maybe I save a few bucks and get that:

I just sent a sample there a few weeks ago. I got the 5A test.

Save your money and don't get the kit. Instead wash and clean a water bottle and send it there. They give information/instructions on how to do this on the submittal sheet under Sample Submissions. This will cost you $27.25 + S&H
