We should probably figure out a date to meet up and split the batch. Sunday's are best for me if that works for everyone else. Also, I may be able to take the barrel if it fits in my car and no one else wants it.

I'm out of town the 26th through the 30th this month but can make most other days work. I'm also interested in the barrel and can get a truck to haul it. How many gallons per person are we looking at now?

Don't forget I've abandoned my 10-12 gallons due to moving to Texas... sorry I missed out on the tastings and well, the beer!

Sounds good to me. I can probably take between 10-12. I have 2 empty 6 gallon carboys.

I will be leaving 28th, 29th, 30th, then will be at home every day afterwards till I move, so you guys figure a day out that works for you, figure out who will take the barrel, and then send me a PM if I don't respond to you posts. Actually, I think it's going to be difficult to find a time to meet period, so I made a Google spreadsheet. Hopefully this helps rather than make things more confusing!

I filled out the calendar for you; I put you down as available "anytime" on the 15th and on the 27th through the 4th. Feel free to make adjustments if needed.

I fillled out the spreadsheet, great idea! I'm going out of town this sunday and wont be back until january 4th at the soonest. If we can make it happen this week I can get a truck to pick up the barrel. If not I can drop off some cornys for someone to hold my share.

Could it possibly work during the evening this wednesday thursdsay or friday? Does anyone have an idea of how long it would take to empty? I guess it depends on how many siphons we can fit in the barrel.

Good to see all you guys again.

I did a gravity check and it came in at 1.000-1.001, tasted a very slight acetic character so be careful with oxygen exposure.

Also my forearms are so sore from lifting that barrel.
