The other weekend I went to awesome Aurora, IL with SWMBO (who likes casinos, which I don't get) for a night of fun outside of the city (i don't know why, but whatever).
To my chagrin, I noticed that there wasn't a whole lot going on there, although the city itself has some cool locales/visuals for sure. This was until I noticed our hotel was situated right next to a place called Walter Payton's Roundhouse.
It was pretty cool, it was a neat old mill or something that he converted into an amusement park for adults with three bars and restaurants and stuff. On top of that there was a brewpub inside! I thought, "great now there's something for me and the SWMBO," until I tried the beer...
It was... alright to be forgiving but for a place that had its brewery on premise I found a lot to be desired after tasting all they had to offer.
Anyone else ever been here or tried it/hated it?
