I'm about to build a walk in cold room and I was wondering how important is to vent the room? Need help before I start since it could change my plan where to build. Cheers

What would venting be for? Any air out means warmer, moist air in (which will cause condensation). You really want it as airtight as possible.

I don't think you want to vent a cold room, just like you don't see vents on fridges or freezers. All that'll do is increased the compressor loading (unless one lives near the poles) and drag in humidity that'll become a pita to get rid of.

fwiw, I've owned a couple of walk-ins in my life and neither of them were vented...

Cheers!
